totally been there. it sucks and I wouldn’t wish it on anyone, but i’m glad to know I wasn’t alone in missing school and homework and wanting squash those complainers. senior year of high school, I never made it to school for a full week.  

happy to say I’ve been able to do all my homework on time this year.

Me in high school.  A friend I love dearly was complaining about her “worst day ever” one time, a day where she missed the bus and needed her mom to bring her art project to school and then she had a test the next day and a paper due the next week and I nearly lost it because I was lying in my basement where I’d been all day, all week, all year, all the time, and while I reminded myself that everyone’s emotions are legitimate, all I wanted to do was give her a healthy dose of perspective.  But I didn’t, because no one wants to be that sick person who guilts everyone around them until there’s no one left.
